so I’ve been seeing lots of ugly and disgusting comments about axl lately and I’ll be honest you all are just taking the piss now

I’ve been a fan of guns n roses for nearly 2 years now. i heard them when I was little but didn’t really listen to them . So for what I’m about to say you will understand why I’m so pissed off .

First off I just want to say is that the man is 62 YEARS OLD . 62 ! he’s not going to sound or look the same as he did in the 80s , 90s , early 2000s or 2010. axl has a rare singing voice as we all know and of course as he gets older it will be a little damaged.

I’d like you see you try and hit the notes he does , run around on stage for 2 or 3 hours a night , do the work he does , go to meetings all the time , deal with paparazzi, the media , the bullying , hearing what your own so called ‘fans’ think and say about you

secondly , of course he won’t look the same as he did back when he was idk 25 or 30. Idk if any of you were well educated but when you do get older your body , mind , your voice and your hair changes. literally everything changes

Idk if you guys would like it but how you feel waking up each morning for thr past god knows how many years to read that people think you’re ‘ugly ‘ , ‘fat’ , ‘not attractive no more’ ?

I just don't get this. People see other characters doing horrible shit and it's their trauma, pain, loneliness, Shinobi system, and some other shit responsible for their behavior and actions, but somehow Itachi should be completely exempted from this leniency. Because there's absolutely no way he was at the war at the of age of 4, saw bloodshed that would traumatize even the surviving adults, lost his faith in humanity because how little value war gave to the human life, and how FREQUENT wars and conflict were in their world.

Let's also pretend he didn't think it must be stopped because dying meaninglessly for a system was a horrible thing to do. Let's also pretend he wasn't placed in the situations where no child, not even if you're a budding Shinobi, must be placed. Spying on the government? Spying on the clan? Life and death? Making him question the way the world worked while giving him no other option? Good job, adults. All this came from the people who had thrice the experience of his age.

Let's also forget the last part of his characterization - his guilt and regret overpowering all his other emotions, except for his love. Ignoring and denying the last part is something that goes on in this fandom in abundance.

What makes him an incredible character and an honorable man is acceptance. You can ignore that all you want, but he's a brilliant character without whom the Naruto won't be as poignant and profound as it is.

Istg if I see another video or comment saying “Hiccup had no right to shove Toothless away! He didn’t do it on purpose!” Yes, Toothless did not kill Stoick on purpose, but what they (for some reason) don’t understand is that HICCUP WAS OVERWHELMED!! So many things were going on, so many emotions were going through his head, and in that kind of situation you’re gonna want to blame something or someone because there’s nothing else you can do!

I’m just so tired of people making Hiccup “the bad guy” for feeling his emotions in an intense situation you’ve never been in before.

i’m so fucking done with people. The fact that he was literally forced to come out, bullying him and calling him a queerbaiter every day until he couldn’t keep it to himself anymore. Imagine being 18 and having the entire internet forcing you to come out and straight up labelling you.

I remember a few months back when Kit talked about his RIGHT to keep his sexuality private, and what makes it even worse is that the “hearstopper fans” were the ones harassing him and assuming his sexuality every fucking day, to the point he left twitter so he wouldn’t see all of it and not only that but literally made him address it.

And he’s right, some of you did miss the point of Heartstopper, LIKE DID WE WATCH THE SAME SHOW?? DID YOU LEARN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING?? and honestly it’s not something that can get lost in translation, it’s right fucking there, but some people just choose to ignore it and for what.

That being said, i just wanna share this quote from the comic, it’s so important for everyone to understand that NOBODY owes us anything when it comes to them figuring their sexuality or just wanting to keep it to themselves, if someone chooses to have that part of themselves private it doesn’t immediately invalidates them, it doesn’t mean it’s not real and it does NOT give anyone the right to force it out or assume something.
